Membership Benefits Regular membership in the Carolina Clinchfield Chapter of the NRHS provides subscription to the chapter’s newsletter, The Jitterbug. Issued quarterly, it is a first rate magazine devoted to the history of the Clinchfield Railroad. This class of membership also provides subscription to The National Railway Bulletin, a slick paper magazine which serves as the newsletter of the National Railway Historical Society, and which covers railroad history at the national level. Associate membership, for those who already belong to the national organization through another chapter or as an at-large member of the NRHS, provides subscription to The Jitterbug, and all rights and privileges of regular membership. Subscribing membership provides subscription to The Jitterbug, and all rights and privileges of regular membership with the following exceptions: A subscribing member can not hold an office in connection with the chapter’s national standing, nor vote in a matter concerning the NRHS. They would be eligible to vote on a purely local matter.
